Real wedding: Stephanie and Cliff

Stephanie and Cliff were married on August 15, 2009, in central Pennsylvannia at a quaint manor house overlooking beautiful lush lawns - the perfect setting for their adorable picnic-style wedding.

Now I'll turn it over to Stephanie so she can share some of the sweet details with you:

It was so fun for me to get ready at the {venue} because I could run outside and see the army of friends and family that showed up that morning to help set up and decorate.

We knew it would be hot so we arranged to serve {the guests} Rita's Italian Ice before the ceremony. After dinner, we served Penn State Creamery ice cream and sent them away with cookies and milk. The cookies were made by aunts and friends and were ... paired with the best milk in the world from Myers Dairy, where they sell local fresh milk in glass bottles!

The sparkler send off was such a last minute decision but it was such a rush to drive down the long driveway seeing all the faces of the people I love the most lit up by sparklers.

So lovely! Congratulations, Stephanie and Cliff! If you'd like to see more photos from the wedding, head over to Missy Photography right here.

Rainy day

I remember constantly checking the weather reports as our wedding day approached and wishing and hoping and praying for a sunny day. And while I'm glad we ended up having a beautifully clear day, I don't think a few raindrops would have made it any less special. So if there's rain in your wedding day forecast, don't fret. At the end of the day, you'll still be married to your love and if you embrace the showers, you could even end up with fun and gorgeous photos like these.

I love the idea of having a bumble set aside just in case of rain and this adorable Rain Rain Go Away umbrella from Felix Rey would just be too cute for couple portraits:

Are you planning ahead for a rainy day?
